Linde in Malaysia seeks a senior business development professional to drive opportunities and projects within the region. The role involves aligning with business strategies across Green Hydrogen, decarbonization, and gas processing plants while engaging major clients like Petronas.

You will lead market analyses, pre-qualifications for EPC tenders, and collaborate with regional teams to shape winning bids and long-term customer value propositions.

Qualificações

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree required; MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years in industrial gas, chemical, oil & gas or engineering industries.
• 4+ years in an external-facing role at Linde (e.g., sales) or 7+ years outside Linde in a similar role.
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop opportunities and projects in Malaysia according to the business development strategy and standards.
• Identify opportunities fitting Linde technology portfolio (Green Hydrogen, Decarbonization, Oxygen Plants, Air Separation Units, Hydrogen &S syngas units, Petrochemical plants, Adsorption plants, LNG processing).
• Key Account Manager for Petronas and other major petrochemical companies.
• Co-operate with Linde Gas organization regionally for common synergies and local support.
• Conduct market analysis, order intake and BD in Malaysia & Brunei.
• Understand client requirements for technical services, spares, and proprietary components (e.g., Oxygen/Hydrogen plants, PSA, PLC).
• Pre-qualification for EPC tenders; assist bidding strategies with local constructors and suppliers.
• Engage customers to develop project opportunities and value propositions.
• Collect information about new opportunities at early stages with customers and regional units.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for market analysis, order intake and Business Development in Malaysia & Brunei
• Understand the client requirements of technical services, spares, proprietary components like Oxygen Plants, Hydrogen Plants, Clean Energy, PSA, Cold Box, PLC, etc.
• Pre-qualification for EPC tenders. Help in formulating bidding strategies and partnership with local construction companies and fabricators/suppliers.
• Engage customers to develop project opportunities, customer and market assessments and business concept/value proposition.
• Identify and collect information about new opportunities at early-stage engaging customers, region business unit, Gas Business etc.

What we’re looking for

• BE/B Tech degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferably top-ranking institute
• MBA or equivalent post graduate qualification from a Premier business school is a plus.
• Experience in metals / chemicals/ refinery industry is a plus.
• 7+ years professional experience in the industrial gas, chemical, oil & gas or engineering industry, and
• 4+ years successful professional experience at Linde in an external facing function (e.g. sales) or 7+ years professional experience outside Linde in equivalent position, and
• Successful experience in management of cross-functional project teams.
