Job summary

Maybank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior business development professional to drive revenue growth in Digital Asset Custody and Securities Services. You will identify cross-selling opportunities by positioning traditional custody, asset servicing, fund services, tokenization, and digital asset custody as integrated client solutions.

Develop relationships with asset managers, fund managers, trustees, fintechs, digital asset platforms, exchanges, and institutional investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, business, economics, accounting, IT or related disciplines.
• Strong ability to identify client needs and cross-sell solutions across custody and digital assets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for Digital Asset Custody and Securities Services.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities by positioning integrated client solutions across custody, asset servicing, fund services, tokenization, and digital asset custody.
• Develop relationships with asset managers, fund managers, trustees, fintechs, digital asset platforms, exchanges, and institutional investors.
• Identify opportunities across digital assets, tokenization, digital securities, and broader capital market solutions.
• Lead client presentations, proposals, RFPs, and commercial discussions.
• Work closely with Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to deliver client solutions.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory trends, and competitive activities within the digital asset ecosystem.
• Represent Maybank at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of financial markets, securities services, or digital asset ecosystems.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and originate new business opportunities.
• Strong ability to identify client needs and cross-sell solutions across traditional custody and digital asset custody ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
