Parkland Group is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional in Malaysia to identify, engage and pitch CRESS solutions to off-takers, with a focus on data centres and high-energy-demand projects. The role involves building strategic partnerships with Developers to secure renewable energy supply and develop CRESS opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education in engineering or business with domain understanding.
• Experience in business development within energy, data centre, or solar EPC environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy landscape and regulatory context is advantageous.

Description du poste

Job Functions:

• Identify, engage and pitch CRESS solutions to potential off-takers, particularly Data Centre and high-energy-demand prospect.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with Developers to secure suitable renewable energy supply and develop CRESS opportunities.
• Lead opportunities with off-taker engagement and solar farm matching through commercial negotiation and ensuring alignment with CRESS requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Authorities, technical consultants, and strategic partners for future renewable energy project development and execution.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Studies, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development preferably in Data Centre Development or Solar EPCC industry.
• Understanding on solar farm, grid connection and data centre development experience
• Good understanding of Malaysia’s renewable energy landscape, with exposures to PETRA, TNB and ST regulations.
• Work location based in Klang Valley.
