We are a Middle Eastern conglomerate with operations in Malaysia, seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to support the growth of our property investment business in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and executing attractive property investment opportunities, managing the investment portfolio, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering sustainable returns in line with the company's investment objectives. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong investment acumen, commercial judgment, market knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with developers, financial institutions, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with property developers, agents, banks, and business partners.
• Source potential property investment and development projects.
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and investment information.
• Support negotiations and deal-making with business owners.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects and clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development, property, real estate, investment, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Malaysian property market.
• Good network of property developers, agents, or corporate clients.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially driven with good business judgment.
• Able to work independently and meet targets.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are an advantage.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia when required.
