We are looking to strengthen our team at our site in Malacca

Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies mock‑ups, and prototypes.
• Design and dimension of drives and components
• Specify suitable purchased parts, including complex mechanical items.
• Prepare and verify manufacturing documents such as detail drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments according to CE requirements.
• Develop new mechanical solutions (guiding systems, pneumatics, springs, etc.) based on technological updates.
• Define spare and wear parts for machines.
• Prepare and manage change requests, error reports, and document updates.
• Support additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CAD skills, especially in SolidWorks.
• Good understanding of ISO standards; CE compliance knowledge is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic drive systems.
• Ability to work across disciplines with electronics and software teams.
• Independent and well‑organized working style, able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex mechanical issues.
