Job summary

Motorist Pte. Ltd invites a student intern in Business/Marketing to join our Asia-focused team. You will identify potential automotive partners, help with outreach, and support onboarding for new partners across our network.

You’ll document partner needs, assist in preparing decks and proposals, and conduct market research to spot growth opportunities. Experience with Excel/Sheets is a plus, and travel to partner sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Communicate well in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing tasks independently.
• Comfortable with field exposure or partner visits, and open to learning.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets a plus).

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential automotive partners—dealers, workshops, and related businesses.
• Support outreach efforts through research, call preparation, and follow-ups.
• Assist with onboarding activities to get new partners up and running smoothly.
• Maintain communication with existing partners and help document their needs and feedback.
• Help prepare partnership materials, decks, and proposals.
• Conduct market and competitor research to spot growth opportunities.
• Compile performance data, prepare summary reports, and flag key trends to the BD team.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams on partner-related tasks and internal projects.

Requirements

Qualifications & experience

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets a plus)

Own transport and a valid driving licence is an advantage, but not required
