Job summary

Motorist is seeking a motivated student to join our partnerships team in Malaysia. You will help identify potential automotive partners, support outreach, and assist with onboarding to drive regional growth.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Business/Marketing, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and comfortable working independently. Field visits and travel may be required. Own transport is an advantage.

• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for partner visits; own transport is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential automotive partners—dealers, workshops, and related businesses.
• Support outreach through research, call preparation, and follow-ups.
• Assist with onboarding activities for new partners.
• Maintain communication with existing partners and document needs and feedback.
• Prepare partnership materials, decks, and proposals.
• Conduct market and competitor research to spot growth opportunities.
• Compile performance data, prepare summary reports, and flag key trends to the BD team.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations on partner-related tasks and internal projects.

Requirements

Qualifications & experience

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field

Communicate well in both English and Bahasa Malaysia

Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing tasks independently

Comfortable with field exposure or partner visits, and open to learning

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets a plus)

Own transport and a valid driving licence is an advantage, but not required
