Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive business growth across Malaysia and Asia, expanding footprint to additional countries. You will identify opportunities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and support tendering and negotiations.

The role requires a strategic mind, market insight, and a solid network within developers and contractors. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in related fields and a proven track record in business development or project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of construction tendering procedures, procurement routes, contract administration, and project lifecycle dynamics.
• Established network of contacts within developers, main contractors and consultants

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Prepare proposals, client presentations, and pre-qualification submissions, and support negotiations.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to refine market positioning.

• Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to track industry trends, identify emerging opportunities, and refine market positioning.
