Join Maxis as a Business Analyst Intern within the Consumer Business Division , where you will gain hands‑on experience supporting business analysis activities, process improvement initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery. This role offers exposure to real‑world business operations, requirements gathering, process documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration while working closely with business teams, project stakeholders, and product owners in a dynamic corporate environment.
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
Support workshops, meetings, and discussions to understand business needs and objectives.
Help prepare business requirements documents, user stories, process documentation, and meeting minutes.
Ensure requirements are properly captured, organized, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in documenting and analysing existing business processes and workflows.
Develop process maps, flowcharts, and supporting documentation to represent current operations.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the Business Analyst team in recommending process enhancement initiatives.
Collect, validate, and organize business and operational data from various sources.
Perform basic data analysis to support decision‑making and project requirements.
Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, and business insights for stakeholders.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation and quality checks.
Support the planning and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation.
Track testing progress, document defects, and follow up on issue resolutions.
Work closely with business users and project teams to ensure successful test execution.
Conduct research on existing business artifacts, systems, products, and industry best practices.
Gather relevant information to support business analysis activities and project initiatives.
Assist in benchmarking and identifying opportunities for process and product improvements.
Support project teams with ad‑hoc analysis and documentation tasks as required.
The intern will have the opportunity to participate in both small‑scale and large‑scale projects within the Consumer Go-To-Market (GTM) team, covering a variety of products and business initiatives. This may include:
Supporting business analysis activities across multiple product launches and enhancements.
Assisting in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Participating in stakeholder discussions, workshops, and project delivery activities.
Contributing to data‑driven insights and recommendations that support business decision‑making.
This project provides practical exposure to business analysis methodologies, project management practices, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business operations within a leading telecommunications company.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or digital transformation initiatives.
Previous academic or internship experience related to business analysis is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work with structured data and perform basic data analysis.
Familiarity with process mapping tools, business analysis techniques, or documentation tools is an advantage.
Technical knowledge or understanding of systems, applications, or digital products is a plus.
Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Confident in presentations and stakeholder interactions.
Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
