Job summary

Webby Group in Malaysia is seeking a Mid to Senior Business Analyst to join the growing business team. You will work with the Business Development Team to translate client requirements into well-defined software solutions—from the first meeting until project handover.

This role blends client communication and technical problem-solving, offering exposure to end-to-end project lifecycles, tenders, and client demos in a fast-paced software house environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, IT, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in pre-sales, business analysis, or client-facing tech role.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills.
• Strong understanding of web/mobile app development concepts (APIs, cloud).
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings with the BD Manager to understand business needs and objectives.
• Translate requirements into solution proposals, system flow, and feature specifications.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and quotations with clear tech and business alignment.
• Coordinate with internal tech teams (UI/UX, backend, cloud, AI) to confirm feasibility and pricing.
• Support tender or RFP submissions with requirement matrices and documentation.
• Present demos or prototypes to clients and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ensure smooth handover to project teams after deal closure.

You’ll work closely with our Business Development Team to turn client requirements into well-defined software solutions — from the first meeting until project handover.

What You’ll Do

Attend client meetings with the BD Manager to understand business needs and objectives.

Translate requirements into solution proposals, system flow, and feature specifications.

Prepare presentation decks, proposals, and quotations with clear technical + business alignment.

Coordinate with internal tech teams (UI/UX, backend, cloud, AI) to confirm feasibility, effort, and pricing.

Support tender or RFP submissions — requirement matrix, compliance form, and documentation.

Present demos or prototypes to clients and assist in explaining technical concepts in simple terms.

Ensure smooth handover to project teams after deal closure (scope confirmation, documentation, follow-up).

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.

3-5 years experience in pre-sales, business analysis, or client-facing tech role.

Excellent presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong understanding of web / mobile app development concepts (API, cloud, etc.).

Detail-oriented, analytical thinker who can organize ideas clearly.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced software house environment — juggling multiple clients and projects
