Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Building or Property Management or equivalent.
5+ years in Building/Facilities Management, preferably commercial.
Knowledge of Strata Management Act & Regulations.
Strong reporting skills using MS Office.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily building operations, maintenance, safety and upkeep of properties.
Manage service providers and maintenance teams to meet service levels.
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for tenants and stakeholders.
Monitor and enforce service contracts and licenses with local authorities.
Coordinate meetings (AGMs, JMB/MC) and report progress to management.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and upkeep of our properties. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth building operations, manage service providers and maintenance teams, and deliver a safe and well-maintained environment for tenants and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Strategic Planning & Process Improvement

To improve on the department’s Standard Operation Procedures and process flow, but not limited to facilitate in system automation.
To improve the service level and quality in accordance with the Company’s direction.

Building & Facilities Operational

To monitor and ensure daily building operations run smoothly such as maintenance service, building security, safety & cleanliness, car park collection and performance of all service providers.
To monitor all existing M&E preventive maintenance for the building, including Headquarters Office.
To ensure all queries and complaints from tenants are attended and rectified by the maintenance team.
To monitor and ensure all service contractors rendering their services in accordance with their job scope as per Service Contract Agreement and Letter of Award.
To ensure all agreement for service contractors and licenses with the local authority are in place and up-to-date.
To work with Administrative Manager to ensure the condition of facilities in Headquarters Office is well maintained and in good condition.
To facilitate the Annual General Meetings, monthly JMB/MC meeting, any special meetings of management committee, including liaising and updating the Committee Members on relevant progress of any issues related to the building.
To establish and prepare work summary report to update the Management.
Any other ad-hoc assignments / tasks assigned by Superior / Management from time to time.

Staff Management & Manpower Planning

To lead, manage and oversee roles and tasks assigned to subordinate in property management department and ensure successful completion of deliverables, manpower restructure if necessary.
To provide direction to subordinate and facilitate problem solving.

Qualification/Experience:

Minimum Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Property Management or equivalent;
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Building or Facilities Management or related field/industry, preferably experience with commercial building;
Well versed in Strata Management Act & Regulations, and Strata Tile Act and any other relevant Building Act would be preferred;
Good command of Microsoft Office Applications due to reporting is required;
Demonstrate ability to lead a team;
Excellent communicator, which able to deliver instructions and communicate effectively;
Good multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks;
Is a 1-year renewable contract position.
