Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform daily checks and repairs on building services, AHU, firefighting, plumbing, and civil works at our Johor Bahru site. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance per schedule and ensure compliance with Malaysian safety acts.

On-call duties are required, and you will support the supervisor with related tasks to maintain safe, efficient facility operations.

Qualifications

• At least MLVK certificate in Air-Conditioning / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil.
• At least 1 year of industrial working experience in the related field.
• Have skills in plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance checks on all building facilities systems and update in daily checklist.
• Repair all building facilities, equipment/systems breakdowns.
• Obtain routine inspection, weekly inspection, and monthly servicing of Mechanical & Electrical facilities such as Air-Cond Building System (AHU/WCPU), Fire Protection System, Civil & Structure, Plumbing & Sanitary and relevant systems in building.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance as per the schedule on all facilities systems/equipment.
• Ensure operations and maintenance of electrical engineering plant and facilities are done effectively and comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga Act, Safety & Health Act, and any other relevant Acts under Malaysian law.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Perform on-call / Standby duties as per the monthly schedule.
• Undertake other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
