Job summary

Lockton Malaysia is seeking an insurance and reinsurance broker with strong client servicing skills to manage a portfolio of clients. You will handle renewals, retention, and business development while securing competitive terms and maintaining meticulous policy records in line with Lockton standards.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Law/Finance/Insurance and hands-on experience in (re)insurance broking and claims, with a proven ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Insurance or related discipline.
• Experience in (re)insurance broking and claims.
• Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance and reinsurance broking, consultancy and account management to a portfolio of clients.
• Service day-to-day client portfolio including renewals, retention and development.
• Secure competitive terms/quotes for new and renewal business.
• Maintain accurate records and policy documentation in Lockton systems.
• Prepare market and client documentation, including RI documentation, per Labuan regulation and Lockton standards.
• Process invoices/billing entries according to Lockton standards.
• Resolve client queries promptly with accurate guidance.

To provide insurance and reinsurance broking, consultancy, and account management services to an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, client retention, and portfolio growth through effective relationship management and tailored risk solutions.

About The Role

• Day-to-day servicing of clients’ portfolio in respect of renewal, retention & development of business, including supporting company/client events.
• Efficient and timely management of all new and renewal business by due date.
• Secure competitive terms/quotes for new and renewal business and ensure that the placement of (re)insurance is in accordance with Lockton strategy.
• Maintenance of accurate records, especially policy documentation, in accordance with Lockton process, i.e. electronic filing and where necessary hardcopies.
• Preparation of all market and client documentation including RI documentation in accordance with Labuan regulation & Lockton standards.
• Process invoice/billing entries in accordance with Lockton standards.
• Manage and resolve all queries in a prompt, accurate & effective manner ensuring guidance is sought where necessary.
• Ensure accuracy in all documentation prior to issuance.

What we are looking for..

• Minimum degree holder, in either Law, Finance, Insurance or any related discipline.
• Experience in (re)insurance broking and claims.
• Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
