Job summary

CG FinTech is seeking an Operations Executive to support payment channels and daily brokerage/online trading operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with Risk, Finance, Sales, Product, Compliance and Tech, coordinating with merchants and institutional partners.

Applicants with B2B operations, payment solutions or fintech experience are preferred. You will help with onboarding merchants, API integration, UAT, reporting and process improvements to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant working experience within the brokerage / online trading industry.
• Prior experience in brokerage operations, payment operations, B2B operations or fintech is highly preferred.
• Exposure to digital asset settlement, payment processing or OTC-related operations will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, with the ability to analyse transaction and order-related data and prepare operational reports.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive or time-critical matters such as account freezes, transaction exceptions and customer complaints.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external business partners.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin, written and spoken, to support regional stakeholders and business operations.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Lark or similar platforms.
• Able to provide occasional support for urgent operational matters outside standard working hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of payment channels, including CNY/INR payment channels and digital asset settlement activities, while monitoring order flows and coordinating with relevant operational teams.
• Monitor and analyse order allocation and execution performance, identifying and escalating unusual activities or operational issues.
• Work closely with Risk, Finance and Sales teams on account freezes, judicial freezing cases, compensation approvals, abnormal account investigations and customer complaints.
• Assist with investigation and documentation of operational cases, ensuring supporting evidence and compensation processes are handled according to established procedures.
• Support the onboarding of merchants and institutional/B2B clients, including API integration coordination, UAT testing and go-live activities.
• Prepare regular operational reports and track key metrics such as processing turnaround time, channel exchange-rate costs, operational capacity and transaction performance.
• Maintain accurate records of merchant and institutional client account status and relevant payment-channel information.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Technology and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and timely resolution of operational issues.
• Gather operational requirements and feedback from merchants, payment partners and internal teams, and follow up with Product and Technology teams on system enhancements and process improvements.
