Job summary

Novonesis is seeking an Industry Technology Specialist for Brewing to help customers optimize brewing and beverage processes through applied guidance, trials, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives. You will translate complex challenges into practical technical projects and contribute to regional growth within Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Diploma, bachelor’s or master’s in Brewing Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• At least three years in brewing or beverage industries.
• Experience designing and running trials, interpreting results, and proposing solutions.
• Experience managing technical projects through verification and commercialization.
• Strong written and spoken English with ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with brewing customers to provide application guidance and identify process improvements.
• Plan and execute customer and internal projects, including experimental design and data interpretation.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop high-value technical opportunities.
• Lead proof-of-concept studies and contribute to the innovation pipeline.
• Coordinate with global experts and ensure reliable results per quality and documentation standards.
• Support labs and ensure valid results and proper documentation.
