Job summary

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive OOG/breakbulk opportunities across key industries in Shah Alam. You will build relationships with freight forwarders, project logistics providers and direct shippers, while coordinating with operations and pricing teams for feasible, safe cargo handling.

The role requires a Bachelor's/Master's degree in logistics, maritime studies or related fields, with 3+ years in shipping/logistics sales.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
Experience in shipping/logistics sales, especially OOG/breakbulk, is required.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a self-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for OOG/breakbulk across key industries.
Achieve sales targets and grow the project cargo business through freight forwarders and shippers.
Collaborate with ops, pricing and technical teams to assess cargo feasibility and safe handling.
Provide input on port capabilities, monitor market trends and develop sales strategies.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and performance analysis.
Report directly to the Sales Manager.
