Job summary

DTL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Store Manager for its Shah Alam outlet. You will oversee daily store operations, coach promoters, and ensure launch activities align with timelines.

The role requires at least SPM and 2 years in retail, with strong communication in English, Malay, and Mandarin. The position is six days a week, offering a dynamic and performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification with 2 years retail experience.
• Experience as store manager preferred.
• Good communication and written English/Malay/Mandarin.
• Willing to work 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Aware of retail stores daily operations and matters.
• Conduct store-assessment and meetings with promoters and follow up with action plans for improvements or maintenance.
• Maintain healthy and productive communication with Brand Store Executive.
• Ensure store activities/opening/launching are in place according to the timeline.
• Propose various store enhancement initiatives to improve consumers experience.
• Coach and provide customer service training for promoters on the ground.
• Assist in solving day to day operational issues raised by Brand Store Executive and HQ Personnel.
• Ensure all correspondences and store planograms are carried out effectively according to the guidelines.
• Capture best practices across all stores and brainstorm for further implementation or enhancement.
• Prepare necessary proposals and reports for meetings.
• Monitor and support in all aspects that contributes to sales performance.

Requirements

Minimum SPM and above and with 2 years working experience preferably in retail industry (mobile/consumer electronics).

Candidates with relevant strong working experience as store managers are encouraged to apply.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities verbal and written (able to communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin).

Willing to work 6 days per week based on outlet schedule.
