Job summary

DTL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Retail Store Manager in Bintulu, Sarawak to oversee daily store operations, drive sales initiatives, and coach frontline staff across English, Malay and Mandarin. This role requires coordinating openings, promotions, and store enhancements within set timelines.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in retail, preferably in mobile/consumer electronics, and is prepared to work 6 days a week with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM and above with 2 years retail experience.
• Experience as store manager encouraged.
• Good communication in English, Malay and Mandarin.
• Willing to work 6 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail store operations and matters.
• Conduct store assessments and meetings with promoters; follow-up actions.
• Maintain healthy communication with Brand Store Executive.
• Ensure store activities, openings and launches adhere to timelines.
• Propose store enhancements to improve customer experience.
• Coach and provide customer service training for promoters.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues raised by Brand Store Executive and HQ.
• Ensure store planograms and correspondence are carried out per guidelines.
• Capture best practices across stores; brainstorm enhancements.
• Prepare proposals and reports for meetings.
• Monitor and support factors contributing to sales performance.

Responsibilities :

Aware of retail stores daily operations and matters

Conduct store-assessment and meeting to promoters and follow up with action plans for improvements or maintenance.

Maintain a healthy and productive communication with Brand Store Executive.

Ensure store activities/opening/launching are in placed accordingly to the timeline.

Propose various store enhancement initiatives to improve consumers experience.

Coach and provide customer service training for promoters on the ground.

Assist in solving day to day operational issues raised by Brand Store Executive and HQ Personnel.

Ensure all correspondences store planogram are carried out effectively according to the guidelines.

Capture best practice across all stores and brain storm for further implementation or enhancement.

Prepare necessary proposal and reports for meetings.

Monitor and support in all aspects that contributes to sales performance.

Requirements :

Minimum SPM and above and with 2 years working experience preferably in retail industry (mobile/consumer electronics).

Candidates with relevant strong working experience as store managers are encouraged to apply.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities verbal and written (able to communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin).

Willing to work 6 days per week based on outlet schedule.
