Job summary

Seven Retail Group is seeking a responsible Branch Manager for our preschool in Malaysia. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support teachers, maintain a safe and organized learning environment, and ensure a positive experience for children and parents.

You will manage staff schedules, handle parent inquiries, and coordinate branch maintenance and supplies while maintaining basic financial records and keeping operations running smoothly.

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and hands-on Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our preschool. You will ensure that classes run smoothly, teachers are well supported, the facility is maintained, and children and parents receive a safe, professional, and positive experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable managing people and operations, and takes ownership of getting things done.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the branch and ensure classes run smoothly and on schedule
• Manage teacher schedules, attendance, availability, and day-to-day staff operations
• Ensure teachers deliver classes according to curriculum standards and provide a positive experience for children
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
• Ensure classrooms, learning materials, and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use
• Handle day-to-day parent enquiries, feedback, and operational issues
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, suppliers, and other branch requirements
• Manage branch expenses, invoices, payroll information, and basic administrative records
• Monitor attendance, class schedules, and other key branch operating information
• Identify operational issues and solve them quickly and independently

About you

• Previous experience in preschool branch management, operations, early childhood education, hospitality, or a similar environment
• Strong organizational and people-management skills
• Comfortable working with children and parents
• Proactive, responsible, and able to solve problems independently
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable managing schedules, staff, expenses, and basic financial records
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Proficient with Google Sheets/Excel and common communication tools
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays as required
