Job summary

LEAPING GIBBON SDN. BHD. in Ipoh-based preschool seeks a Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, communicate with parents and manage enrolments.

You will ensure licensing compliance, safety and a high-quality learning environment for children. The role requires strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and 3–5 years’ experience in early childhood education or centre management.

Qualifications

• Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Centre Manager to oversee the daily operation of our preschool centre. The role includes staff supervision, parent communication, enrolment management, compliance with licensing and safety requirements, curriculum support and ensuring a high quality learning environment for children. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills with relevant experience in early childhood education and preschool operations.

Key Requirements / Qualifications

Academic & Professional Qualifications.

Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Education Management or related field.

Relevant preschool / childcare / kindergarten certification as required by local regulations.

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a preschool teaching, early childhood education or centre operations.

At least 1-3 years in a supervisory, senior teacher, assistant manager, principal or centre management role preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

P.I.T.H. kindergarten is newly established in the year 2021. It has incorporated Finnish Pedagogy in our teaching approach to support the holistic development of a child. The kindergarten is strategically located in Ipoh city centre on 2 acres of land for children to have ample space for outdoor activities.
