The role focuses on delivering quality service, controlling costs, and achieving profitability targets. You will lead negotiations, build customer and supplier relationships, and ensure effective budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Proven Malaysia branch or operations leadership with P&L ownership.
• Relatively a good number of years of working experience in marine industry.
• Commercial and business development track record.
• Multilingual (Mandarin speaker will be advantage).
• Ability in operation analysis and problem solving.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and good communication.
• Good judgment with analytical skill.

Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of branch operational performance, including service quality, productivity, cost efficiency, profitability, and business targets.
• Oversee cross-border operations, ensuring strong alignment between Malaysia and Singapore to meet business and customer commitments.
• Drive business growth by developing customer relationships, strengthening supplier partnerships, and expanding the branch's service capabilities.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage key contracts with customers, vendors, and service providers to optimize value and operational outcomes.
• Identify and execute business development opportunities, process improvements, and cost optimization initiatives aligned with company strategy.
• Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost governance.
• Ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement across the branches.
