Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd in Ipoh invites applications for a BOM approval specialist role focusing on E&Q by lot for existing and new devices. You will review build requirements, BOM history, process flow, and Plan ID assignments, then coordinate with PMO and Process Engineering to resolve issues and obtain approvals.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong coordination and Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment at our Ipoh sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic reporting tools
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• E&Q BOM approval by lot (existing device): Review build requirements and objectives for E&Q builds.
• Check BOM history and ensure BOM usage aligns with build requirements.
• Verify process flow and Plan ID assignment according to the build.
• Coordinate with PMO and Process Engineering for any special build requirements.
• Hold review if further clarification is needed (customer or internal).
• Approve BOM upon confirmation with no issues.
• E&Q BOM approval by lot (new device / new package): Review TGA/AQP to confirm BOM and process flow.
• Follow the same approval process as for existing devices.
