Job summary

A leading palm oil company in Selangor is seeking a Boilerman Grade 2 to ensure safety and smooth operation of steam equipment in the palm oil mill. Candidates must hold a Boilerman Grade 2 certificate and have at least 5 years of related experience. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous. Responsibilities include monitoring boiler performance and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience in related field.
• Ability to work on shifts as required.
• Experience working in palm oil mill is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with fireman for safety in steam equipment operations.
• Ensure smooth boiler combustion and control combustion materials.
• Monitor steam pressure and maintain water levels.

Job description

Boilerman Grade 2 (Based in Palm Oil Mill)

• Liaise with fireman to ensure the safety of all employees dealing with steam equipment.
• Ensure boiler combustion is smooth and control the use of combustion material.
• Ensure pressure of steam is maintained under a safe line.
• Maintain cleanliness of boiler consistently.
• Monitor water levels of boiler consistently.
• Ensure to keep the fireside clean during daily maintenance.
• Handle and fulfill tasks assigned by Manager and Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess minimum must possess at least Boilerman Grade 2 certificate or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Able to work on shift and as and when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and hardworking.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Alertness, attention to details and can work under stress.
• Experience working in palm oil mill will be an added advantage.
