Job summary

Kami Farming Sdn Bhd is seeking a Boilerman to operate and maintain boiler systems at our Bukit Minyak, Penang site. The role focuses on safe, efficient boiler performance to support agricultural production.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of boilerman experience, holds Grade 1 and 2 certificates, and is able to work overtime and shift hours. Attendance and overtime are supported within the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Boilerman or in a related role in agriculture/manufacturing.
• Must hold Grade 1 & Grade 2 Boilerman Certificates.
• Willing to work overtime and rotate shifts.
• Strong understanding of boiler systems and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain boiler systems for safety and efficiency.
• Inspect, clean, and repair boiler components as needed.
• Regulate pressure, temperature, and water levels.
• Troubleshoot boiler issues promptly.
• Document operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide guidance to team members.

About the role

As a Boilerman at Kami Farming Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating the boiler systems that are essential to the agricultural production processes of the company. This full-time position is based in Bukit Minyak, Penang, and will require you to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the boiler equipment to support the broader agricultural operations.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and maintaining the boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.


• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of boiler equipment, including cleaning, adjusting, and repairing components as needed.


• Monitoring and regulating boiler pressure, temperature, and water levels to maintain optimal operating conditions.


• Troubleshooting and resolving any boiler-related issues or malfunctions in a timely manner.


• Maintaining detailed records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any repairs or replacements.


• Ensuring all boiler operations are conducted in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.


• Providing support and guidance to other team members as required.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Boilerman or in a similar role within the agricultural or manufacturing industry and must be process Minimum of Grade 1 & Grade 2 Boilerman Certificate.


• Candidate must be able to work on overtime and also must be able to commit shift hours.


• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of boiler systems, including their components, operation, and maintenance requirements.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operating instructions.


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve boiler-related issues.


• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.


• Candidate must be high discipline and responsibilities attitude.
