Job summary

Network Foods (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Boilerman to maintain boilers, water treatment and related utilities at its Shah Alam facility. The role requires carrying out daily laboratory work, chemical dosing, and ensuring boiler water meets required standards.

Candidates should have a Second Grade Boilerman Certificate and SPM, with good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Shift work, independence, and reliability are essential to support production and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Must possess at least Second (2nd) Grade Boilerman Certificate
• Able to work on shifts and as and when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and hardworking.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Alertness, attention to details and can work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of workplace at all times.
• Perform timely maintenance works on boilers, thermal oil heaters and raw water.
• Conduct daily laboratory analysis, perform chemical dosing and ensure boiler water is treated to requirements.
• Perform chemical make-up, back washing and regeneration of raw water treatment plant.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed and adhered to at all times.
• Ensure operation of utilities complies with governmental rules and regulations.
• Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, Environmental Quality Act 1974 and Factory & Machinery Act 1967.
• Comply with Steam Boiler & Unfired Pressure Vessel Regulation 1970.
• Comply with quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and product specifications for local and international clients.
• Other matters assigned from time to time

Job description

• To maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of workplace at all times.

• To perform timely maintenance works on boilers, thermal oil heaters and raw water

• To conduct laboratory daily for analysis, perform chemicals dosing and to ensure boiler

• water is treated to the requirements.

• To perform chemicals make-up, back washing and regeneration of raw water treatment

• plant.

• To ensure all SOP are followed and adhered to at all times.

• To ensure operation of utilities are in compliance with governmental rules and

regulations.

• Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations,

Environmental Quality Act 1974 and Factory & Machinery Act 1967.

• To compliance with Steam Boiler & Unfired Pressure Vessel Regulation 1970.

• Comply with all quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and
