Job summary

Fatty Chemical Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Boilerman to ensure safe steam boiler and gas turbine operations and to comply with SOPs. You will support safe plant operation and participate in routine checks.

You will assist the Steam Engineer, coordinate the steam boiler annual inspection with JKKP, and maintain records to ISO9001/ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards, contributing to a safe, compliant utility environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold JKKP boilerman certificates and ICE grade certs.
• Ability to read, write and speak Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure steam boiler operation in safe condition and adhere to SOP.
• Ensure Gas Turbine operation in safe condition and adhere to SOP.
• Assist the Steam Engineer in preparation & coordinating the steam boiler annual inspection by JKKP officer.
• Participate in troubleshoot and maintenance in Utility facilities area.
• Ensure the sound operation & monitoring of others Utility facilities which been assigned to.
• Carry out the jobs and maintain the record according to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 procedures, where related.
• Record, data taken and report & highlight to Superior.

Job description

Ensure steam boiler operation in safe condition and adhere to Safe Operation Procedures (SOP).

Ensure activities carry out are compliant to Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (Act 514).

Assist the Steam Engineer in preparation & coordinating the steam boiler annual inspection by JKKP officer.

Participate in troubleshoot and maintenance in Utility facilities area.

Ensure the sound operation & monitoring of others Utility facilities which been assigned to.

Carry out the jobs and maintain the record according to ISO9001 , ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 procedures, where related.

Record, data taken and report & highlight to Superior.

Requirements:

With Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 approved by JKKP.

Certificate in Boilerman Grade 2 also encourage to apply.

Certificate in ICE Grade 1 or 2 also encourage to apply.

Able to read, write and speak in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Able to work on shift.
