Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Boiler Operator and Maintenance technician to ensure smooth operations of our boiler systems in a lithium battery production environment. The role requires regular inspections, maintenance, and strict adherence to safety standards on a demanding line.

Diploma or higher in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is required, with at least 2 years of boiler operation experience. The job entails shift work and contributing to clean, safe boiler operations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience in boiler operation and maintenance.
• Willing to work shifts and follow safety regulations.
• Minimum 2 years boiler operation experience with natural gas or heat-transfer oil boilers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, inspect combustion efficiency, safety valves, and gauges.
• Perform annual overhauls and water quality testing.
• Maintain 6S in boiler room and keep area safe and tidy.
• Fill operation logs and maintenance records; report faults for data traceability.
• Coordinate with production to meet steam demand.

• 2.Conductregularinspectionsofboilercombustionefficiency,safetyvalves,pressuregauges,andotherequipment;performannualoverhaulsandwaterqualitytesting(softenedwatertreatment).
• 3.Maintain6Sstandardsintheboilerroom,cleancoalashandoilstainspromptly,andensureasafeandtidyworkarea.

SafetyManagementandDocumentation

• 1.Strictlycomplywithspecialequipmentsafetyregulationsandassistincompletingannualboilerinspectionsandthird-partytesting.
• 2.Properlyfillinoperationlogs,maintenancerecords,andfaultanalysisreportstoensuredatatraceability.

• 1.Handleboilerabnormalities(suchaspressureissuesorleaks),reportpromptly,andassistinemergencyrepairs.
• 2.Coordinatewiththeproductiondepartmenttoadjustboilerloadtomeetsteamdemandforlithiumbatteryproduction.

Requirements
