Job summary

Rompin Integrated Pineapple Industries Sdn Bhd (RIPI) seeks a Boiler Operator to operate and monitor industrial steam boilers, ensuring safe and compliant performance. You will perform routine testing, maintenance tasks, and assist in inspections under the guidance of the team leader.

The role requires a valid Certificate of Competency for Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2, minimum SPM or equivalent, and 2–3 years of hands-on boiler experience in hot industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Certificate of Competency for Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2 (JKKP/DOSH).
• Minimum SPM or equivalent technical certification.
• 2–3 years of hands-on boiler operation experience.
• Physically fit and able to work in hot industrial environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and basic water-testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler systems for safe, efficient performance.
• Maintain records and logs of operation, maintenance, and inspections.
• Attend mandatory JKKP statutory inspections and prepare boiler for checks.
• Perform routine water gauge tests and bottom blowdowns as scheduled.
• Inspect fuel lines, burners, pumps, and piping for leaks or defects.
• Assist with maintenance and basic electrical/mechanical repairs.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and production loss.
