Job summary

Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Boiler Operator to manage steam boiler operations according to defined parameters. The role focuses on safe, efficient plant operation and adherence to maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities include daily checks on boiler valves and fittings, performing teardown and cleaning, and maintenance ahead of the yearly DOSH inspection. Candidates should have SPM credit and a boilerman certificate (Grad 1 or 2) and 2–3 years’ boiler

Qualifications

• Education: At least credit in SPM and boilerman certificate grad 2 or grad 1
• Healthy condition and ability to perform physical tasks
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in controlling boiler engine

Responsibilities

• Operate the steam boiler according to the required operations parameters.
• To perform daily checks on a boiler equipment related valves and fitting to ensure that all the equipments are running in good order (Total Preventive Maintenance).
• To carry out the teardown, cleaning and maintenance of the steam boiler in preparation for the yearly inspection from the DOSH.
