Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Bodyguard Driver to Director in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role provides executive protection and secure transport for senior leadership, with a focus on discretion, professionalism and high safety standards.

You will manage driving duties for the directors, perform threat assessments, and coordinate with security teams while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in bodyguard driver/executive protection
• Valid driving licence with clean record and experience driving executive-class vehicles
• Professional security qualifications or certifications (bodyguard training, defensive driving, first aid desirable)
• Proven ability to stay calm and responsive in high-pressure situations
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus
• Knowledge of local Johor Bahru geography and road conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide personal security and protective services to assigned director during office, travel and public engagements
• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to traffic regulations and maintenance standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and threat evaluations at locations and events attended by the protected executive
• Plan and execute secure routes for daily commutes and special assignments
• Maintain constant situational awareness and vigilance for potential threats or unusual activities
• Coordinate with security personnel and external agencies when required
• Document security incidents and activities in detailed reports

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Bodyguard Driver to Director to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this role, you will provide executive protection and secure transportation services to senior leadership within the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of your assigned executive whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and vehicle operation. This position is critical to the personal security framework of the company and requires unwavering commitment to protection protocols and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal security and protective services to assigned director(s) during all activities, including office, travel and public engagements
• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic regulations and maintaining vehicle maintenance standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments and threat evaluations at locations and events attended by the protected executive
• Plan and execute secure routes for daily commutes and special assignments, considering traffic patterns, security risks and time efficiency
• Maintain constant situational awareness and vigilance for potential security threats or unusual activities
• Coordinate with other security personnel and external security agencies when required
• Document security incidents, concerns and activities in detailed reports as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive schedules, personal information and business matters
• Ensure all security equipment and communication devices are functioning properly and maintained to standard
• Comply with all company security policies, protocols and legal requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a bodyguard driver or in executive protection services
• Valid driving licence with clean driving record and experience driving executive-class vehicles
• Professional security qualifications or certifications (bodyguard training, defensive driving, first aid certification desirable)
• Proven ability to remain calm, alert and responsive in high-pressure situations
• Strong observational and threat assessment skills with the ability to identify potential security risks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work discreetly with senior leadership
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to security situations if required
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages an advantage
• High level of integrity, trustworthiness and discretion
• Knowledge of local area geography and road conditions in Johor Bahru
• Familiarity with security protocols, emergency procedures and crisis management
