Job summary

VAT Security Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable Bodyguard cum Driver to provide personal protection and driving services for our Executive Chairman. You will work closely with the principal, so discretion, trustworthiness and professionalism are essential.

The role involves safeguarding the CEO, planning routes, and maintaining the vehicle, with overtime and occasional weekend hours. Malay and English communication required; valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D or higher) and a clean record are

Qualifications

• Full working rights in Malaysia.
• Valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D or above) and clean driving record.
• Physically fit, calm under pressure.
• Well-groomed and presentable.
• Willing to work overtime and some weekends.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the CEO safely and punctually, plan routes in advance.
• Provide close personal protection at all times, including travel and events.
• Watch for risks and respond calmly and appropriately.
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy and properly maintained.
• Keep all information about the CEO and company confidential.
• Follow company rules, code of conduct and job description.

Basic : RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month (can hit up to RM 5,000 with OT )

About the role

VAT Security Sdn Bhd is looking for a reliable, disciplined Bodyguard cum Driver to provide personal protection and driving services for our Executive Chairman. You will be in close daily contact with the principal, so trustworthiness, discretion and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive the CEO safely and punctually, and plan and check routes in advance.


• Provide close personal protection at all times, including during travel and events.


• Watch for risks and respond calmly and appropriately.


• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy and properly maintained.


• Keep all information about the CEO and the company strictly confidential.


• Follow company rules, the code of conduct and the job description.

Requirements

• Candidates with full working rights for Malaysia, male, with a valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D or above) and a clean driving record.


• Prior experience in security, close protection, the police or armed forces, or as a professional driver is an advantage.


• Physically fit, alert and able to stay calm under pressure.


• Good character, honest and discreet. A background check will be conducted.


• Well-groomed and presentable, in keeping with a role that works closely with the CEO.


• Able to work flexible hours, including overtime and some weekends (Sunday's) as required.


• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, and Saturday, 8.00am – 12.00pm.

Overtime is compensated according to company policy and the Employment Act.
