Job summary

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) is seeking a professional Driver to support the transportation needs of the management, VVIP guests and company personnel. You will provide safe, punctual and discreet travel, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience at all times.

You will plan routes, monitor traffic, and maintain vehicle readiness. The role requires confidentiality, reliability and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Valid driving licence with at least 5 years experience.
• Clean driving record with authorities.
• Good knowledge of Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore roads.
• Familiar with Waze and Google Maps.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Driver We are looking for a professional, reliable and responsible Driver to support the transportation needs of our management, VVIP guests and company personnel.The role requires someone who places safety, punctuality and confidentiality as top priorities, while ensuring a comfortable and professional travel experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for management, VVIP guests and company personnel to meetings, appointments, airports, events and other official destinations.
• Plan efficient travel routes and monitor traffic and road conditions to ensure timely arrival.
• Practise safe and defensive driving while ensuring passenger comfort at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding passengers, conversations, business matters and company information.
• Maintain a professional appearance, conduct and etiquette when dealing with management, guests and external parties.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, presentable and ready for use before every assignment.
• Monitor basic vehicle condition, including fuel, tyres and scheduled servicing.
• Promptly report any vehicle damage, breakdown, accident or maintenance requirement.
• Ensure road tax, insurance, permits and other vehicle-related documents remain valid and up to date.
• Maintain proper records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.
• Handle changes to schedules, airport transfers or last-minute travel arrangements professionally and calmly.
• Support the secure and timely delivery of confidential documents to authorised recipients when required.
• Perform other driving-related duties as assigned by Management.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as a Driver.
• Possess a valid driving licence with at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no serious or outstanding records with the relevant authorities.
• Good knowledge of roads and routes, particularly within Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
• Familiar with navigation applications such as Waze and Google Maps.
• Knowledge of Singapore entry procedures and road regulations will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Punctual, disciplined, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
