Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to maintain and optimise building management systems, drive energy efficiency, and lead upgrade projects within data centre environments.

The role requires 5+ years in BMS with hands-on experience in Honeywell, Siemens or Schneider Electric platforms, and strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. This position is based in Malaysia and involves cross-functional collaboration with IT and facilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Relevant certifications (BMS, HVAC, PMP) are highly desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in BMS engineering, preferably in data centres or critical infra environments.
Proven track record of managing BMS operations and projects.
Strong proficiency in BMS software such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric.

Responsibilities

System Maintenance and Optimisation of BMS hardware and software to ensure energy efficiency and reliability.
Data Analysis and Reporting on system performance and energy usage.
Lead BMS upgrade and expansion projects with cross-functional coordination.
Ensure Compliance and Safety of all BMS operations with audits and standards.
Provide Technical Support and Training on BMS operation and maintenance.
Integrate BMS with other building systems and data centre infrastructure.
