Job summary

Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Alor Gajah, Melaka is seeking an Operations Supervisor to plan the daily manpower and oversee production. You will ensure quality, safety, and compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, HAS and OH&S standards.

You’ll collaborate with Technical Supervisor to keep machines clean and safe, train new workers, and drive KPI targets. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience preferred, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Possess Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
• Two years of working experience in the related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge on food processing and raw material handling an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in people management.
• Self-confidence and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Strong organisation, time management, attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily manpower and deploy workers to the correct work areas.
• Ensure operators meet daily targets and output.
• Monitor line efficiency and prevent excessive manpower usage.
• Coordinate with technicians for machine setup and downtime issues.
• Enforce discipline and supervise housekeeping in work areas.
• Inspect product quality across biscuits, sandwiching and wrapping.
• Conduct personal hygiene checks before entering Packing Dept.
• Train new operators and potential leaders; support cross-functional teams.
