Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BIM Modeler in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to support our Project Management and Construction teams. You will create highly detailed BIM drawings and coordinate standards across files and models. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus strong English/Bahasa communication, is required.

The role involves independent work, travel, and ensuring designs comply with regulations while meeting project deadlines and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of related industry (Security, BMS, ELV) is preferred.
• Strong MS Office and Autodesk software skills (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and detail orientation.
• Good written and verbal English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management and Construction teams to create high-detail BIM drawings.
• Develop and coordinate BIM standards, workflows, and quality across models.
• Provide CAD/BIM support, attend coordination meetings, and gather system requirements.
• Prepare rough sketches and detailed CAD/Revit work; ensure designs comply with regulations.
• Manage multiple projects and troubleshoot BIM related issues; meet deadlines.
