Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Security Revit Modeler for its data center projects in Malaysia. You will independently develop, coordinate, and maintain detailed BIM models, ensuring alignment with LOD/LOI and BIM Execution Plans.

You will guide junior modellers, embed precise parameters, and coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and ICT teams to deliver data-rich solutions on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or BIM/CAD discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in security systems design or BIM modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and maintain detailed Revit models for Security layouts and detailing.
• Ensure models meet project LOD, LOI, and BIM Execution Plan requirements.
• Embed accurate parameters, system data, and schedules to support design and construction.
• Own assigned Security model areas and resolve clashes before escalation.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and ICT disciplines.
• Perform regular model quality checks and maintain BIM standards.
• Update models with design changes and client comments.
• Prepare model outputs, drawings, and exports for reviews.
• Support construction-stage modelling needs as required.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to junior modellers and share best practices.
