Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Modeler/Designer (Revit) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to support data center and complex building projects. You will develop, coordinate, and maintain high-quality electrical BIM models while aligning with multidisciplinary design teams.

The candidate should have strong Revit expertise, a solid understanding of electrical building services, and experience in BIM project environments.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modelling.
Experience on building, infrastructure, data center, or mission-critical projects is desirable.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for electrical systems, including power distribution, cable containment, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage services.
Produce BIM deliverables per BEP and company standards.
Populate and maintain model data, parameters, and project information to support design coordination and documentation.
Generate drawings, schedules, and model outputs for design reviews and submissions.
Update BIM models based on engineering mark-ups, design revisions, and coordination feedback.
Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and ICT disciplines.
Participate in clash detection and BIM coordination activities using approved project tools.
Assist in resolving routine modelling and coordination issues.
Support project teams throughout the design, coordination, and construction phases.
