Job summary

iBroad Solutions is seeking a BIM Engineer with experience in BIM modelling, coordination, clash detection, and technical documentation. You will work with design, manufacturing, production, project management, and site teams to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/Engineering/Architectural Design experience.
• Strong Revit modelling and drafting skills.
• Knowledge of CATIA and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, Python and VBA.
• Experience with BIM 360 or similar collaboration tools.
• Ability to create accurate 3D BIM models from designs.
• Experience preparing BOQ/BOM from BIM models.
• Ability to prepare installation plans, method statements and technical documentation.
• Experience creating as-built models and model comparisons.

Responsibilities

• Create, coordinate and maintain BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design/coordination issues.
• Convert 3D models into formats suitable for clients and internal teams.
• Prepare BOQ, quantities, site plans and installation documentation.
• Support installation teams with technical and BIM-related issues.
• Develop as-built models and carry out model comparisons.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare installation simulations, accessibility studies and transportation plans.
• Create operation and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure models and project documentation are accurate and delivered on time.
