Job summary

CEKAP AIR SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to oversee coordination activities on construction projects.

You will manage and maintain 3D BIM models, review drawings, and facilitate clash detection while coordinating with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or Building Technology and 3–5 years hands-on BIM modelling experience, with Autodesk Revit proficiency as an advantage.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to oversee BIM coordination activities for construction projects. The position will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, reviewing design and construction drawings, conducting clash detection, and facilitating coordination between consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes throughout all project phases.

Prepare detailed drawings and BIM deliverables with high accuracy and quality.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on BIM tools, workflows, and implementation.

Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, project specifications, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Keep up to date with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and delivery.

Liaise effectively with external parties, including clients, consultants, and other system package contractors.

Lead and oversee BIM workflows, particularly in CSD and SEM coordination.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Building Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeller within construction projects.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit is an advantage

Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and construction process.
