Job summary

Esco Audio Visual Sdn Bhd is seeking a Building Information Modelling Engineer to develop, update, and maintain BIM models and drawings for data centre and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate deliverables, perform clash detection, and support planning, installation, testing, and commissioning activities with accurate BIM documentation.

The role requires 2–5 years of BIM experience and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with BEP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, BIM Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination for construction, infrastructure, data centre, or related projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models and drawings for Data Centre projects and related works.
• Prepare and coordinate BIM deliverables including drawings and as-built documentation.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with multiple disciplines.
• Support planning, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance with BIM.
• Extract quantities, material schedules, and reports from BIM models for procurement and cost estimation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to verify conditions and installation progress.
• Ensure BIM models and docs comply with BEP and company procedures.
• Maintain document control, model revisions, and BIM records.
• Carry out other assignments as directed by Management.

Job description

Develop, update, and maintain BIM models and drawings for Data Centre projects and other infrastructure, security, and construction projects, including security fencing, bollards, barriers, gates, safety devices, and associated civil and structural works.

Prepare and coordinate BIM deliverables, including infrastructure drawings, construction drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation in accordance with project requirements.

Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with architectural, structural, civil, security, and other relevant disciplines to ensure design integration and constructability.

Support project planning, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities through accurate BIM modelling and technical documentation.

Extract quantities, material schedules, and reports from BIM models to support procurement, cost estimation, and project execution.

Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical, design, and site-related issues.

Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections when required to verify site conditions, dimensions, installation progress, and as-built information.

Ensure all BIM models, drawings, and documentation comply with project specifications, client standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company procedures.

Maintain proper document control, model revisions, and BIM records throughout the project lifecycle to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Carry out any other related assignments as directed by the Management in support of the Company's business operations and project requirements.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, BIM Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination for construction, infrastructure, data centre, or related projects.

Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM tools.

Familiar with BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and construction documentation requirements.
