Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Billing Specialist to oversee accurate and timely invoicing, including pre- and post-billing obligations. You will handle data validation, post-billing corrections, and ensure compliance with global policies, while collaborating with Global and Regional Finance teams to drive timely payments.

The role emphasizes process improvements, automation opportunities, and maintaining strong internal controls within a shared service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience in customer-facing environment.
• Experience leading centralized processes in shared service environments is a plus.
• Experience in logistics or BPO is ideal.
• Knowledge of Lean Management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely and accurate completion of customer invoices, ensuring SLAs and special billing requirements.
• Drive resolution of shipment issues for correct billing and prompt invoice corrections.
• Ensure compliance with global guidelines for handling sanctioned shipments.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities related to unbilled items and invoice corrections.
• Improve finance processes through automation and standardization.
• Collaborate with Global/Regional Finance teams for issue resolution and payment collection.
• Support audits with relevant billing documentation.
