Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2 (Japanese Speaking) in Penang, Malaysia. You will assist customers with NI Products, Platforms and Systems, route issues, and provide solutions within SLA while promoting customer loyalty.

The role requires JLPT N3+ proficiency in Japanese, a relevant engineering or science degree (or equivalent experience), and openness to fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• For this role, fluency in Japanese (spoken/written) is required (JLPT N3+).
• Candidate pursues a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or has relevant experience.
• Experience in technical support or customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and route technical issues for customers.
• Handle inbound technical support requests via phone, email, and web.
• Validate entitlements and approve exceptions for unentitled customers.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate support groups.
• Document customer data records to ensure data integrity.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide solutions within SLA.
• Educate customers through training and technical engagements.
• Assist with product startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance guidance.
• Enable self-service by creating Knowledge Base articles.
