Job summary

NTT DATA in Cyberjaya, Malaysia is seeking an MS Engineer (L1) who is bilingual in Japanese and English. The role provides first‑level IT support, monitors end‑user devices, troubleshoots hardware and software, and ensures 24/7 coverage through 12‑hour rotating shifts, with hybrid working arrangements.

You will work with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices; coordinate with vendors; document requests; and stay updated with product knowledge to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or IT/Computing qualification.
• Equivalent IT helpdesk/cust­omer service experience.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• JLPT N2 or higher; Japanese language ability required.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts with day/night hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level hardware, software, and network support to end users.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Monitor network and server performance; respond to alerts.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with customers, vendors, and network carriers.
• Receive and execute Service/Change Requests per defined rules.
• Document and track all incidents in the ticketing system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NTT products and IT infrastructure.
• Suggest procedure improvements to streamline support processes.
