Job summary

CB Talents is seeking a Japanese-speaking customer support professional in Malaysia to assist users on live chat and email in Japanese and English. The role combines day-time onsite work with night shifts from home in a hybrid model, demanding strong attention to detail and a solid foundation in fintech/crypto markets.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of frontline customer service experience, a finance/ economics/ math background, and legal work authorization in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency and confident written communication in Japanese.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in Customer Service / Live-chat, preferably 2–4 years.
• Experience with financial institutions, fintech platforms, trading environments or crypto products is advantageous.
• Educational background inFinance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via live chat or email in Japanese and English.
• Ensure an efficient, accurate, and high-quality customer service experience.
• Stay informed about crypto trading platforms, products, and market fundamentals.
• Handle inquiries and feedback from current and prospective users.
• Identify customer needs and relay actionable feedback to management.
• Flag discrepancies or risks to management and support process improvements.
• Continuously seek ways to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
