Job summary

HCLTech in Malaysia seeks fresh graduates with strong Japanese or Korean language foundations to join an intensive IT networking development program. You will transition from a linguistics background into IT networking, gaining hands-on experience in routing, switching, collaboration, service provider networking, and network security.

You will undergo comprehensive onboarding, foundational training, CCNA preparation, and language/cultural immersion while progressing through a structured career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Near-native fluency in Japanese (written and spoken). JLPT N1/N2 or TOPIK 6/5/4 are a plus but not mandatory.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.
• Strong interest in building a career in IT networking field.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving network incidents for Japanese or Korean speaking end-customers, under guidance.
• Document technical issues and resolutions clearly and concisely in both English and Japanese.
• Adhere strictly to Client and HCLTech's security, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across different tiers and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
