Job summary

BAT is seeking a BI & Analytics Engineering Lead in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to drive a complex BI portfolio across regions. You will lead the BI team, ensure data quality, and enable AI-ready analytics with governance and semantic models.

The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership, coordinating across data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to deliver sustainable reporting products and govern data assets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of BI/Analytics teams and projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, data modelling and SQL.
• Experience in AI-enabled analytics and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end BI portfolio including commercial and leadership reporting.
• Lead BI product lifecycle from requirements to deployment and adoption.
• Coach BI team and manage internal resources and vendors.
• Coordinate with data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams.
• Establish data quality governance and monitor performance.
