Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Business Intelligence Consulting Lead for Malaysia & Singapore. The role guides BI strategy and daily operations across MY/SG, directing analytics teams and defining KPIs for enterprise self-serve BI initiatives using Tableau or Power BI.

You will mentor a regional BI team, collaborate with stakeholders, and build BI products that address analytical needs while staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytic applications on multiple platforms with Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Ability to communicate value and capabilities of analytic solutions in FMCG context.
• Proven leadership, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience building enterprise self-serve BI environments from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Support an enterprise wide self-serve BI environment with business representatives.
• Direct and manage BI team developing analytic applications on NIQ platforms.
• Provide agnostic evaluation of BI tech and processes to meet business needs.
• Work with business reps to define KPIs, opportunities, and analytics pain points.
• Develop a vision and roadmap for capturing metadata for self-serve BI.
• Stay current with BI industry trends and big data applications.
• Design dashboards and reports with consistent standards and methodologies.
• Build a regional BI team, mentor junior consultants, and forecast development.
• Provide analytical and technical leadership for BI and reporting.
• Build and monetize BI products addressing analytical requirements.
