Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) is seeking an experienced Manager to establish and lead the APAC BIU presence. This leadership role combines regional stakeholder management with hands-on analytics, including governance and AI-enabled improvements.

The candidate will guide APAC’s BIU roadmap, manage a regional team, and collaborate with global BIU functions to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in BI, analytics, or data-focused consulting with delivery to senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing a team and coaching/mentoring.
• Strong technical grounding in modern analytics, BI, data platforms, and tooling.
• Knowledge of data governance principles including data quality and ownership.
• Ability to translate business problems into dashboards, analysis, or lightweight apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the APAC BIU team, setting direction and standards.
• Triage regional requests and align with global BIU roadmap.
• Serve as senior technical contact for complex reporting and data issues.
• Embed data governance, documentation, and data quality controls.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI into analytics workflows.
