Job summary

Regent Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head Mixologist / Beverage Manager to own the beverage programme end to end, curating cocktails and wine menus, and representing Regent as a confident, media‑friendly ambassador across Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant bar scene.

The ideal candidate has degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience, a minimum of five years’ experience (including two in a senior role) in an international luxury setting, and fluent English; wine specialization may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience, including at least 2 years at senior level in an international luxury environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverages.
• Wine specialisation (e.g. WSET) may be required.
• Established network and genuine understanding of Kuala Lumpur's bar scene and wider region.
• Fluent English; other languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work across the beverage team, ensuring proper staffing and operations.
• Train colleagues on cocktail and beverage service to Regent's standards.
• Lead cocktail training programmes for the F&B division and manage supplier tastings.
• Drive a positive working environment and cross-department collaboration.
• Develop and curate cocktail and wine menus across all venues, aligning with concept and cost.
• Represent Regent's beverage programme to guests, media, and industry events.
