Job summary

Shopee Malaysia is seeking a proactive BD Training & Education specialist to own onboarding and capability development for the Business Development organisation. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve training content, sessions, and resources to equip Relationship Managers with knowledge and tools to perform effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Programme Management, Content Development, Knowledge Management, or related fields.
• Experience managing e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or knowledge management systems is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding and capability development programmes for the Business Development organisation.
• Plan, facilitate, and host onboarding sessions, training programmes, internal RM briefings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Design, develop, and maintain training materials, playbooks, e-learning content, and other learning resources.
• Manage the BD e-learning platform and internal knowledge management system.
• Partner with BD, L&D, HRBP, and cross-functional teams to coordinate training content and learning initiatives.
• Act as the PMO for learning programmes, coordinating schedules and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor training effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and continuously improve learning content.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support team priorities.

About The Team

The Business Development Performance Management (BDPM) team is responsible for driving performance and capability development across the Business Development organisation. We lead strategic initiatives that improve operational excellence, strengthen organisational capabilities, and implement AI and automation solutions to enhance BD productivity, elevate seller experience, and support sustainable business growth.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and engaging individual to join our BD Training & Education team. In this role, you will own and drive onboarding and capability development programmes for the Business Development organisation, ensuring BD is equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to perform effectively throughout their career journey. You will manage end-to-end training programmes, facilitate learning sessions, coordinate with business stakeholders, and continuously improve training content to ensure it remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with evolving business priorities.

• Own the end-to-end Business Development Onboarding Programme and BD Growth Programme for new and existing Relationship Managers (RMs).
• Plan, facilitate, and host onboarding sessions, training programmes, internal RM briefings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Design, develop, and maintain training materials, playbooks, e-learning content, and other learning resources to ensure content remains accurate and relevant.
• Manage the Business Development e-learning platform and internal knowledge management system, ensuring learning content is up-to-date, accessible, and well-governed.
• Partner with Business Development, L&D, HRBP, and cross-functional teams to coordinate training content, facilitators, and learning initiatives.
• Act as the PMO for learning programmes by coordinating training schedules, stakeholder communications, and end-to-end programme execution.
• Monitor training effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and continuously improve learning programmes and content.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and initiatives as assigned by the reporting manager in support of team priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Programme Management, Content Development, Knowledge Management, or related fields.
• Experience managing e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or knowledge management systems is an advantage.
